MIT C.C.A. under the expert direction of eminent Academic and Industrial leaders along with a team of aspiring marketing professionals plays a vital role in fulfilling the dreams of hundreds of engineering aspirants across India.

Objective:

"An individual's talents are diminished when they are placed in a job that doesn't cater to their strengths." The objective of MIT C.C.A. is to help the students to develop receptive minds which can enable them to have meaningful interpersonal relationships, emotionally satisfying attachments and bring about balance between needs, capabilities and opportunities. During the training process, we observe what people's strengths and weaknesses are and position them accordingly to help them to become a productive member of the knowledge society and thereby pave way for fulfilling the sociogenic motive of self actualization.

Role:

MIT C.C.A. is further playing an instrumental role through Industry/Institution Interactions and having Memorandum of Understanding with the Leading Industry Stakeholders Like TCS, IBM, Infosys, Wipro etc. Besides creating new job opportunities with the industry leaders and organising industrial training or summer placements for students, C.C.A., MIT extends guidance to the students interested in higher studies through qualifying GATE, GRE, CAT etc. and seeks experts advice on behalf of students wishing to apply for higher education at various universities/institutions within the country and abroad. In addition, we provide non-academic input to the students by means of Personality Development, Workshops, Guest Lectures, mock Group Discussions and interviews etc. through renowned professional organisations for the young engineering students aspiring for appropriate placements in the industry. The skills a student develops during such orientation programs are as follows:

Knowledge exchange programme:

Our valued relationship with renowned Academic and non profit making organisations like IIT Kharagpur, Jadavpur University, BIT Mesra, IEI, IEEE, IET, CSI, University of Cambridge, Bengal National Chamber Of Commerce, Bengal Chamber OF Commerce, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) helps our students to acquire knowledge on present industrial trends, market economy, emerging technologies etc. through seminars and knowledge exchange programs organised during their course of engineering studies.

Industry-Institute Partnership Programme:

The Institute has partnership with Infosys Campus Connect and Wipro Mission 10X. The teachers of this Institute attend TTT workshop, conducted by Infosys and train the students of this Institute based on the modules let down by Infosys. Wipro Mission 10X programme is directed towards the training of the teachers of this Institute.

C.C.A, MIT has maintained symbiotic, vibrant and mutually beneficial relationship with industries and reputed professional firms across the country; as a reason why the success curve for training & placement has shown significant rise over the years. Some of our key achievements during the current year are as follows:

  • Pre final year students from all disciplines are successfully placed for industrial training in renowned organisation viz. Tata Power, Indian Oil Corp., WEBREDA, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., DVC, DPL, WBSETCSL, NTPC etc.
  • Successfully implemented Infosys Campus Connect Programme.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum or no supervision.
  • Average compensation offered to students during the current year is INR. 2.00 Lacs.
  • Highest compensation of INR.4.15 Lacs has been offered to the students from the current pass out batch.
  • A number of students opted for higher education through qualifying GRE, GATE, CAT exams.
