The department started its journey in the year 2013 with an intake of 60 students. It has been duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
Students of this department are taught in such a manner that they will not need any bridge course before or after joining in any organization. Practical oriented teaching is our motto.
